SOCIAL JUSTICE CORNER—JANUARY 2016:

Helping the elderly age gracefully with dignity & care for seniors with Dementia and a Need for Volunteer Entertainers:

Due to increased demand, the Alzheimer’s Respite Program has expanded to 5 days a week, serving some 40 frail seniors with dementia diagnoses.  The program runs 9 to 3pm daily with activities such as music, crafts and a nutritious lunch.  This program allows families to have needed time off from full time care of their loved ones.  The trained staff is exceptional.  If you are interested in this service or if you can volunteer to assist in crafts,  playing music or any other fun activities, please contact Michele Osmon at 528-8712, #185 or mosmon@srcharities.org.

Holy Spirit has been amazing in helping the community and Catholic Charities looks forward to continuing to partner with us throughout the year.   Our new bulletin board has information posted about this service and other information for seniors.  Check us out at the back of the church.  Questions please contact RaLinda Ginocchio, 707-538-3259 or Ralinda3@aol.com.
