All Souls Day

Sunday, November 2nd, is the day the whole church throughout the entire world honors its beloved dead. The Feast will be celebrated at all weekend Masses. We pray for the souls in Purgatory who will one day pray for our souls when they are in Heaven, and we may be in Purgatory.

There is a long-standing (and honorable) practice of submitting the names of your beloved deceased to be included in the masses of that day. I take that one step further and keep them on the altar during the entire month of November. Envelopes are available upon which to write their names. Some of you might wish to include an offering in the envelope, but that is not necessary, but please still do submit the names of deceased family and friends you wish included on our list. That is what is most important to me so I can pray for them by name.

ARE YOU REGISTERED HERE
AT HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH?
Some people attending mass here are surprised to find out that they are not registered as parishioners. After all, they have been attending for years and contributing. Although not necessary, please note, that if you have never filled out a Registration Form in the office or online, then you are probably not registered as a parishioner. It is alright to be registered at more than one church. If you are unsure or would like to update your details, please contact Ruth at 707.539.4495 or email office@holyspiritSR.org.
There are forms at the back of church which can be dropped off in our mailbox.

YOU CAN WATCH OUR MASS ON YOUTUBE! Remember, if you’re not feeling well enough to come to mass in person, please go to our YouTube channel. We livestream our Saturday evening mass. Past masses are also available to watch. Search for Holy Spirit Santa Rosa or click on Our YouTube Channel.

LOST AND FOUND
Found keys with leather tag in the parking lot on Monday, Oct. 27th. Please contact the office at 707.539.4495.
For other items please check the small table at the back of church.

You can use the envelopes provided or one of your own. Please put them in the basket in front of the altar or in the collection basket with your weekly offering, or drop them by the office. You can submit names any time this coming month, either at Mass or by dropping your envelope by the office or in the office mail slot.

Grace and Blessing,
Father Ron
